A Maori inspired design, an ocean diety in her fish form, hand hewn from Purbeck stone liberated from Kimmeridge bay, carved directly the old fashioned traditional way and fused with found, shaped metal collected from the same bay.

This is a complete one off, no casts, no copies. Can be bolted to a wall or rested upon an un-even plynth such as a log (can be provided).

This sculpture was made with garden insects in mind. I have included lots of hidden holes and nooks for insects to hide in and make this piece of unique art their home. A signed certificate of authentication comes with this piece of art and a portfolio of photo images illustrating the creation of Moana Te-nui-a-Kiwa, kuini.

Moana Te-nui-a-Kiwa, kuini is a fairly heavy and bulky piece of art and requires a good strong wall or fence for it to be fixed to if it is to be hung.

This Black Diamond has "red" attributes to it in the sun which could be caused my iron or some other element trapped inside of it. It is truly, from institutional research, as later described here, not from this world. The Pantera Negra is thought to have the opposite effect of the Black Orlov as it has been promised to a museum upon my death. There is good in this stone like the Big Cat it is named after. The design was changed from the Cad/Cam a bit as I wanted to have more focus on the top stone and less on the colour of the ring or the hue as we say. The ring is "wild" and often as the sun catches it, it will turn to a blood red. That, as I have told my son, is its lifeline running through it.

About The Black Orlov and its Curse.

"In the middle of the 20th Century, the media christened it the 'Evil Death Gem' but I've never felt nervous about owning the Black Orlov," said Dennis Petimezas, the current owner.

"I've spent the past year trying to discover everything I can about the stone's melodramatic history and I'm pretty confident that the curse is broken."

Alan Hart, exhibition curator said: "The intriguing legend of the Black Orlov highlights the powerful way that diamonds have captured human imagination for thousands of years.
